🌃 Los Angeles Breakfast Club (Griffith Park/Los Feliz)

This local social club is celebrating 100 years of breakfast and community!

Meet your neighbors at a weekly breakfast meetup featuring unique speakers.

Come to their 100th birthday dinner party:

Here’s what’s happening:

🚗 LA’s 50 Most Dangerous Intersections. In the Valley, Sepulveda & Roscoe ranked No. 2 with 65 serious crashes since 2021. Roscoe & Van Nuys saw 59 wrecks and 14 felony hit-and-runs. The city has made 7,000+ safety improvements since 2017 and plans to add more. (ABC7)

🛫 LAX Terminal 5 Closing for Demolition: Terminal 5 shuts down for a complete rebuild for the Olympics. JetBlue relocated to Terminal 1, Spirit to Terminal 2, and American Airlines to Terminal 4. (Patch)

🎩 Valley Magic Mondays (Sherman Oaks): Monthly affordable magic and comedy show. Magic Castle alum. World-class sleight of hand. This month's "Spooktacular" show features Tyler Rabbit, David Shao, and Jackson Ridd. Hosted by Matt Felten. $15. Monday, October 27, from 8 PM to 10 PM at The Green Room.

🎃 Night of the Jack (Calabasas): Immersive Halloween experience. 1-mile trail of larger-than-life jack-o'-lantern installations, interactive displays, food trucks, and themed cocktails at the Spookeasy bar. $30-45. Until November 1 at King Gillette Ranch.

Thursday, October 23

🏀 NBA 2K Tournament (Burbank): 50 competitors battle to celebrate the release of Topps NBA boxes. 1st place wins a Jumbo Box plus a year of free pizza from What Up Dough. All levels welcome. Bracket-style competition hosted by Game Truck LA. $5. Thursday, October 23, 3 PM at Burbank Sportscards.

Friday, October 24

🎃 Trunk or Treat with Classic Cars (North Hollywood): Costumes, classic car displays, candy, and a beer garden—family-friendly Halloween night. Browse vintage cars while the kids collect treats and the adults grab a beer. Free. Friday, October 24, from 6 PM to 9:30 PM at Victorios Ristorante.

🎥 Halloween Slumber Party (Burbank): Grab your blanket and pillow. Gothic bedtime screening of Sleepy Hollow (1999) with Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci. Indie horror shorts, a mini Halloween market, drinks, snacks, and spooky vibes at Vulture Culture Oddities. 21+. $20. Friday, October 24, at 7 PM, at Vulture Culture Oddities.

🎃 The Nightmare Before Christmas (Mission Hills): My Valley Pass is bringing a Halloween wonderland. Outdoor screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Meet and greet with Jack and Sally, unlimited popcorn, and drinks. $25 adults, $15 kids. Friday, October 24, at 6 PM, at Andres Pico Adobe Park.

📚 Studio City Library Book Sale (Studio City): Browse gently used books, CDs, and DVDs at this monthly community sale benefiting the Studio City Library. Early access starts at 8:30 AM for Friends members. Doors open to the public at 9:30 AM. Free. Saturday, October 25, at the Studio City Branch Library.

🎤 Comedy Stand Up Workshop + Show (North Hollywood): Stop saying "someday." Write, refine, and perform your own 3-minute set in front of a live audience. Comedian Jen Murray (The Groundlings, UCB, Inside Joke) coaches you through joke structure, timing, and stage presence. $65. Saturday, October 26, from 3 PM to 8 PM, at 11031 Camarillo Street.

🧒 Free $5 Farmers Market Tokens for Kids (Woodland Hills): Kids and students snag free tokens at the farmers market to spend on fresh produce, treats, or cool crafts. Free. Saturday, October 25, from 9 AM to 1:30 PM at Woodland Hills Farmers Market.

🎃 Halloween Concert (Burbank): Burbank Community Band performs spooky classics from Wicked, Sweeney Todd, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Costume contest for all ages. Free. Saturday, October 25, at 5 PM at First Christian Church of Burbank.

🤼 Día de los Muertos Wrestling (Sylmar): Sylmar's first-ever lucha libre show. Mexican luchadores, lucha-inspired vendors, and a presentation like no other in the Valley. Masks, mayhem, and Día de los Muertos celebration. Family-friendly. $24. Saturday, October 25, at 6 PM at Palacio Torres Banquet Hall.

Sunday, October 26

🛍️ Magnolia Park Vintage Flea Market (Burbank): Vintage treasures, handmade crafts, and local vendors line Magnolia Boulevard. Food trucks, DJs, and live music. Free. Sunday, October 26, from 11 AM to 5 PM on Magnolia Blvd near Hollywood Way.

🎃 Spooky Night Market (North Hollywood): Art, vintage, handmade goods, and music take over NoHo Plaza—dozens of local vendors. Costumes encouraged. Shop unique finds, catch live tunes, and vibe out on Lankershim under the moonlight. Free. Sunday, October 26, from 5 PM to 10 PM, at NoHo Plaza.

🎤 Guyz Nite Comedy Show (North Hollywood): Celebrity guests and LA's hottest comedians. Low ticket prices, high laughs. A funny hour in NoHo. $25. Sunday, October 26, at 7 PM, at HaHa Comedy Club.

🐕 Halloween Dog Parade (Sherman Oaks): Family-run tradition celebrates 10+ years with a casual dog parade. Costumes are optional, and soft serve ice cream is included. Bring your pup for a neighborhood stroll. Free. Sunday, October 26, from 5 PM to 6 PM at the corner of Hesby St & Cedros Ave.

🐾 Dog Costume Contest & Fundraiser (North Hollywood): Bring your pup in costume. Trick-or-treating for dogs, a costume contest, and a fundraiser for Pups Without Borders, a local dog rescue. 21+. Free. Monday, October 27, from 6 PM to 9 PM, at Idle Hour.

📚 Burbank Book Festival (Burbank): Meet-and-greets and signings with dozens of authors across picture books, middle grade, romance, memoir, and adult fiction. Booksellers on site. Panels, vendors, and food trucks. Free. Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Buena Vista Branch Library.

🍴 FOODZILLA Food Fest (San Fernando): The Valley’s largest food festival. Support aspiring food truck and restaurant owners. Plus, vendors showcase handcrafted goods and one-of-a-kind creations. Free. Saturday, October 25, from 5 PM to 9 PM at San Fernando City Hall.

🍗 Best Damn Chicken (New—Northridge): Chicago-style chicken and fish. Lemon-pepper fried wings, crispy catfish, and deep-fried pizza puffs.

🌭 Pearl’s Red Hots (New—Studio City): Chicago-style hot dogs in the Valley. Authentic dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, and chili dogs.

Pokémon Night (Lincoln Heights): Halloween Pokémon bash. DJ, Pokémon BBQ menu, card trading, trivia, an art market, and a costume contest. Free. Thursday, October 30, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM at Benny Boy Brewing.
