Independent: This is coordinated by a city or neighborhood. They invite vendors to a location on a specific date and time.

Hosted: A cooperative of local vendors rotating around different Los Angeles locations. This makes it easy for vendors to service more areas. e.g., California Certified Farmers’ Markets, Raw Inspiration, Coastal Pacific, Supporting Arms, and SFMA.

CSAs and Special Markets: Community-supported agriculture (CSA) farms let you purchase food directly from the farms or food stalls.
