☀️ Heatwaves, landslides, and fall festivals.

September 5 in the Valley.

Last week, I partied with our national treasure.

Welcome to your weekly Valley update! Today is Thursday, September 5, 2024.

In this week’s NoHo Nick:

  • 🔥 Extreme heat

  • 🍷 After-school happy hour

  • ⛰️ Landslides in Southwest LA

  • 🍁 Fall festival

I went to a Nic Cage fundraiser in North Hollywood and ran into a friend.

Me: Hey, do you want to hang out this weekend?

Him: “I can’t! I’m helping my best friend move.“

Me: “Where’s she moving to?”

Him: “She’s actually leaving LA. It makes me kinda sad.”

Me: “Oh, that sucks. Where is she going?”

Him: “Venice.”

🎉 Community shout-outs

“Congratulations on your engagement, Jason and Anne! May you have a lifetime of joy together.” - Mom and Dad (Canoga Park)
