It's called the Theodore Payne Wildflower Hotline.

Every Friday, they record a message with the week's best wildflower sightings.

All the locations are on public land. There are spots right here in LA and more remote areas, too.

☀️ A heat wave has temperatures up to 35 degrees above normal. The National Weather Service is warning Californians to take precautions, such as avoiding strenuous activity in the hottest hours of the day, to prevent heat illness. (LAist)
